The 4-dimethylamino-2-methoxybenzaldehyde, also known as James’ reagent, is mainly found with a purity of 98%. Often times the diagnostic’s reagents must correspond to particular specifications. The presence of impurities, even when they are not detected by machines, can be detected by microorganisms, and the test then becomes invalid.
We have developed a new way to synthesize several dozens of kilograms of valid product. Thanks to an highly accurate purifying method, we have significantly reduced the quantity of impurities, and now the purity of our product exceeds 99%.
