A cosmetics company wanted to realize the chemical synthesis of a certain product, which needed to be of a certain color as well as easily soluble in a defined environment. We discovered that the chemical reaction resulted in a mixture of molecules.
After discovering that a change in the proportions of the mixture influenced its color, we produced a series of samples of different shades. Our customer chose one of the colors and not only did we realize the synthesis, we laso improved various parameters :
The reagents stoechiometry : only a certain proportion of the various reagents allowed us to obtain the desired mixture.
The conditions of crystallization necessary to insure the previous mixture’s proportions
The synthesis was realized in an experimental scale (four lots of five kilograms each).
